Ralph A. Minichino, RFC®, BFA™, CSA is the owner of Minichino Wealth Management, LLC located in Branford, CT.  He is a financial advisor with Cambridge Investment Research with over 30 + years of experience.  Ralph is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.  Ralph is an twelve-time recipient (2013 - 2023, 2025) of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award featured in Connecticut Magazine, Wall Street Journal and Fortune. 

Receiving his BA in Economics from Providence College, Rhode Island, Ralph demonstrates commitment to staying at the top of his field by attending ongoing educational and professional training seminars.  He has earned the designations of Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) from the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants along with the Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA™) designation. 

Ralph’s areas of knowledge include Investment Management, pre and post Retirement Planning, and Estate Planning.  He has been a featured speaker at seminars for the public and companies throughout Connecticut on wealth management,  financial planning, estate planning and retirement issues.  Ralph is committed to establishing long term relationships with clients to make it possible for them to achieve their hopes, goals and a healthy financial future.

Ralph resides on the shoreline town of East Haven, Connecticut with his wife, Maria. Ralph participates in various youth and community activities.  He is an avid horse racing fan and owner.

3,147 Connecticut area wealth managers were considered for the award; 289 (9 percent of candidates) were named 2019 Five Star Wealth Managers. 2018: 3,178 considered, 293 winners; 2017: 2,218 considered, 283 winners; 2016: 1,985 considered, 417 winners; 2015.  To qualify as having a favorable regulatory and complaint history for this award, the person cannot have (1) been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine, (2) had more than a total of three customer complaints filed against them (settled or pending) with any regulatory authority or Five Star Professional’s consumer complaint process, (3) individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint filed with a regulatory authority, (4) filed for bankruptcy, or (5) been convicted of a felony.
